Never before been to Captiva, and this property is unique, beautiful, and private. The restaurant area up north is crowded and after seeing that you appreciate the Coquina Cottage property. Very nice landscaping and amenities, including the hot tub. Staff was helpful and responded to any questions/concerns. You really can't say enough about the size, privacy, beauty, and old school FL appeal of the property. You have easy beach access plus a place to clean what you catch, which is great for anyone who likes to fish and cook what the Gulf offers. Skies are very dark and provided great star gazing. Wife and I are both GF and dairy free and don't eat out, so if you're a cook then I'd take the downstairs unit. The upstairs unit kitchen is smaller but the patio view from there is beautiful. Both units are nice, and depending on when you rent you may have both by default. Best of both worlds!
