Is there a computer on site?

A PC computer is available at Bali Hi Estate and Marina Villa.  Coquina Cottage does not have a computer but has wifi access.

Is there a grill?

Yes, there is a grill at each property.

Coquina Cottage Upper suite has an electric grill.

Coquina Cottage Lower suite has an electric grill.

Marina Villa 905 has propane grills by the pool.

Bali Hi Estate has a propane grill.

Is it kid friendly?

Inside and out! You can sit and watch a movie or show on Netflix or play some board/card games. On the outside we have a wide selection of pool toys, balls, pool noodles. Each property has things for the kids to enjoy.

What if I need to mail something to myself while I am on Captiva, or before I arrive?

 if you expect a delivery via postal service, send to General Delivery, Captiva, Fl. 33924;

if you expect overnight during your stay(UPS or Fedex) send directly to the property's physical address.

Can I hire a fishing guide?

Of course, there are quite a few to choose from.

What is the weather like during the time frame I will be staying?

Can I rent bicycles?

Yes! There are several options:

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy: If Tenant cancels reservation or changes dates, Tenant will be assessed a 25% processing fee based on the *Reservation Total provided Tenant has given at least 60 days written notice to Owner prior to check-in. Reservations cancelled with under 60 days written notice will receive no refund. In the event the owner is unable to make the property available for occupancy for reasons other than Tenant cancellation, 100% of the Tenant monies received shall be refunded to Tenant and will represent Owner’s total liability under this Tenancy Agreement. In the event of a legal dispute, all such legal matters will be adjudicated in Florida and both parties agree to the owner’s arbitration policy.

(Addendum 3.27.20 - Due to COVID-19) Our Captiva, LLC cancellation policy is based on the properties availability for occupancy. Providing the property is available: - If there is a quarantine/lockdown and the beaches of Captiva are restricted for use, Owner will offer a mutually agreeable re-booking for Tenant’s stay. Owner is not liable for Tenant’s ability to occupy the property and occupancy is the sole responsibility of the Tenant.

We apologize, but no refunds will be issued due to weather or other conditions for which OWNER has no control. Should this be of concern to you, we recommend you research trip insurance since cancellation policies are strict: We cannot take responsibility for weather, "Acts of God" or circumstances beyond our control. Is there a computer on site?

Yes, the PC is located in the office nook as well as a printer

Is there a grill?

Yes, there is a full size propane grill with all the utensils included to have an amazing cookout overseeing the beach and playground area.

Is it kid friendly?

Inside and out! You can sit and watch a movie or show on Netflix or play some board/card games. On the outside we have a wide selection of pool toys, balls, pool noodles. We have a full size volleyball net, playground with slides and swings and a life size chess board.

What if I was hoping to catch the big football game while I am there?

Our Bali Hi is equipped with cable TV and Netflix as well. Let us know if there is a specific channel or package you desire, and if we don’t have it, we can add it during your stay for a nominal fee.

Is there WiFi at Bali Hi?

There sure is! The pass code is provided on your arrival info that comes to you 2 weeks prior to your check in date.

How many people can sleep in Bali Hi?

Bali Hi sleeps up to 21 people. The main house sleeps up to 13 people; the optional guest house sleeps up to 8.

Do you allow pets?

Unfortunately not, however we do have another property on Captiva that is pet friendly. Our Coquina Cottage may be available during the time of your interest.

Is there a landline, in case I don’t get good cell phone coverage?

Yes, and you have free local and long distance calling included in your rental.

Do you require a security deposit?

Only for events such as weddings there is a fully refundable security deposit of $5,000 required. Otherwise, for vacation stays there is a $99 non-refundable Damage Waiver included in your rate.

Do you allow for early check-ins or late check-outs?

Generally NO. The cleaners need time to prepare the property properly and this is difficult without adequate time. If we do not have a check out earlier in the day and the property is clean and ready for your arrival, we may allow early arrival with pre-arranged permission.

What linens are provided?

All household linens are included with the rental of Bali Hi: there are towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, wash clothes, bedding, etc.

What beach items are provided?

We provide beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas.

Coquina Cottage

Are the amenities specific to one suite?

No, if you decide for one or both suites the elevated spa, hammocks, and beach toys are included.  

If I only rent one suite will the other one be booked for the same dates?

The two available suites are rented separately with shared grounds and parking.  When renting one suite, the second suite can be rented at a discount for privacy.  Ask us!

What are the differences between the upstairs and downstairs suites?

The upstairs suite has the most beautiful unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico, beautiful beach and private tropical gardens, high ceilings, and a 200 sq.ft. elevated deck. And, a breakfast kitchen, large fridge, microwave, toaster oven, with BBQ on the private deck.

The downstairs suite has a combo washer/dryer, a bigger kitchen, its own grill deck and is wheelchair accessible.

How many people can sleep in Coquina Cottage?

Coquina Cottage can accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids under 12 per suite. There is an upstairs and downstairs suite.

Do you allow pets?

Yes we are pet friendly. The pet fee is $100 per dog under 35lbs. or $150 for pets 35-100lbs.

Is there a landline, in case I don’t get good cell phone coverage?

Yes, and you have free local and long distance calling included in your rental.

Do you require a security deposit?

No, we have a built in damage waiver of $59 in lieu of a security deposit.

Do you allow for early check-ins or late check-outs?

Generally no, the cleaning staff need the allotted time to clean Coquina Cottage to our high standards.
