High Expectations Exceeded!
What a wonderful location and beautiful roomy comfortable condo, perfectly described and loaded with everything we could think of needing or wanting – during those few moments when we were not entirely distracted by amazing wildlife experiences going on right off the balcony and along the mangrove lined canal. Day after day watching dolphins zipping after mullet along the marina shores, while they dodged occasional manatees under dive bombing pelicans, and all sorts of other spectacular birds. What a thrill. Not to mention some extraordinary events we also happened upon and managed to catch on video: mating manatees frolicking over on the main beach and two male blue herons in violent competition on the dock. I’m still wondering when we’ll find the time to sort through all the stills and videos to send some choice captures to the property owners - and to wildlife officials too. We had a few fun boat excursions and a great Ding Darling day but the best action was right on Captiva, right off Marina Villa #905 or on the pristine shell-packed beach a short walk away.
